What happened to this girl on American Idol?

The girl said she has had a backround in music before. she had black hair and wore dark makeup. she was excellent. when they told her she was through to hollywood, she started crying and said “I’m sorry I can’t even breathe.” Does anyone know what happened to her? is she still in? did they tell her she couldn’t be on the show anymore because of the comotion she was starting with her music backround, or did she get out? Please I want to know because she was my favorite!
